I just bought 6 Green-Head full-body goose dekes, there was 2 plastic corn cobs in the box. What do you guys do with them? I put 1 on a plate & my lil step-sister asked if I put butter on it & then tried to take a bite grin.gif It was great, but seriously what do you guys do with them? Thnx

Seriously? We do what YOU did. Or we try to fool the squirrels with them. Or we use them in fall table decorations. Or for Halloween stuff. Or as training dummies with out Beagles.

Nobody uses them for hunting. They make you look like a dolt and a dork. And it sends most passing ducks into hysterics laughing. wink.gif

One evening in our goose hunting camp, after consuming several malt and hops flavered health drinks, we started talking about fake corn in the decoy spread. It was pointed out that geese don't have the depth of field in their vision to tell size. So, you could make larger corn ears just like they make super-magnum goose decoys. It was suggested that a hollow ear of corn six feet long and four feet in diameter could hide two hunters inside as a blind. But can you imagine the size of the goose decoy you would have to put beside it to make it look realistic?? grin.gif
