TUMBLEWEED
Alright, I have a question on thesethings. How exactly does a spinner bladeor two on the rig make it legal?? Unlessyou have a jigging rod, the blades just sitthere right??? Anyway, I belive I read somewhere where it had to be a "lure".So okay, here is my plan on a homespunrig. I start out with barrel swivel, attached to a length of fireline. On thefireline I will attach the "lure". In thiscase, Northland's Rattle Beads.(Hi-Vis,beads, with built in rattles) This is botha visual AND a audible "lure". The packagesays "ATTRACTANT" which should fit inwith the "lure" requirement. Lastly I willinstall the dreaded treble hook.Would this thing fly in the eyes of thelaw?? Whatta ya think???!!
Guest
Being from WI I don't get the thinking behind having to add a spinner blade to tipup rigs to make them legal. I know it's a DNR reg there but to what end ? If I was you I would send the MN DNR an E-mail asking them what would fly. Here in WI some regs are a bit vague and I've written the DNR asking for clarity in the past just to cover my butt.Anyhow , those rattle beads float so you will have to add a splitshot above it to keep it from floating up your line or peg it some how.
