Looking forward to this Saturday for the opener! Unforunatly the Favorite Wife ownes me that day so my opener will be on Sunday.

We'll be out at Midnight Friday....as far as Wifes go Saturday doesn't start ubtil 0600 am...Saturday...

I will be out there midnight also.. keeping away from the holiday traffic... as far as the wife is concerned, she can watch me sleep through the mid day saturday .

It will be interesting to see what happens this year out there. The water has cooled off some in the recent week. The last few years have been excellent throught the season once you figured out the pattern of the fish.

As for the eels... I think I got the record last year for quantity caught, wouldnt doubt I probably got close to a true record a few times, but I never hung one on the scale.

I have a good friend on the Croix that wants them alive(for fresh cleaning purposes).. he just never specified if he wants it in his livewell.. or in his bait tank near by?
