I want to thank those that emailed me thier hot spots for panfish. I do know what it is like not to get to fish due to baiting empty hooks for the young ones. To prepare for the trip I did study posts for July and August back a few years. The post that helped alot was about the use of hotdogs, go figure. After the first day of taking too much time to get bait on the rigs I went to the store and bought the cheapest ($1.09) pack of hot dogs. Sliced them and then quartered them, boy they rigged easy and did they catch the 8.5 to 9 inch gills in 12 ft.
