Bushwacker
What is the best way to attach a name and license to a portable fish house, and is it even required? New to owning my own portable so I could use any help I can get.
MJR
I used a black permanent marker and just put my DL# on it. It worked pretty good but it probably does not help the resale value.
bass-o-matic
My house has a clear plastic sleeve sewn on the front to slide a piece of paper or tagboard in. On my spare, I just duct tape a piece of paper in one of the windows. You can't see out that one real well, but at least it doesn't have your name plastered on the outside of the house in case you ever want to sell later. Mankato-Ice-Man
I have a duct taped peice of a shopping bag on one portable. Little more weather resistant. The other has a holder, so no worries there.
Guest
I like to print out my first initial, last name and DL# on a 8.5"X11" paper, using a font size that makes the letters large enough, I use a narrow font, and it all fits. Then one of those clear document holders, pin this to the side of your portable with a few large safety pins, leave just a little "slack". This will usually last a season, and avoids permanently marking up your portable.
ifalls_archer
I print out my name and address on an 8 1/2 X 11 page, landscape. Make the font as big as you can and arrange the page so there is a 4X6 opening in the bottom right corner. After you print the page, laminate it, then you can stick your shelter tag in the blank corner and your ready to go.
