Surface Tension
Its hard to pickum when theres 3 ft of snow and 4 ft of frost in the ground. Ive used them used in the winter here. They dont hold up well in freezing temps. For walleyes here in the winter minnows are the preferred bait. Trout and Gills will take worms in the winter but waxies, euro's, and meal worms are much easier to take care of in the cold weather. In Feb. I'd like to go ice fishing in southern Cal.
