Price of ammo

I heard a rumor from a couple differnt folks that the price of a box of shells might go up 50% this fall, just wondering if anyone else heard this?

metal is way up in price, I believe that you will see a rather large increase in the price of ammo.

I had a box of 44mag ammo from a little over a year ago with a price tag of $27, just had to go buy a box. Same brand was $37, guy at counter said they have been going up a little every week.

sept 15th all federal steel shot goes up 25% i believe. stock up now!

I heard that also a couple of weeks ago, a local bait store told me to buy all my ammo that I will need now!
