WIld Mountain RV park

Has anyone ever stayed at the RV Park near Wild Mountain? We were thinking of a last minute trip down that way. Is there a big playground and pool? Are the sites spacious?

yes I have stayed there it is okay the front part was crowded so we picked a spot in the back part which is a field kinda of suburban type camping but they do have a pool area. Depends what you like? If you are in this area? Interstate state park on the Croix or Whispering Bay on South Center would be my choice but?

There is a more "remote" campground closer to Taylors Falls ,but I can't remember the name of the place. It's just past the giant root beer sign on hwy 95. You need 4-wheel drive to get back to some of the camp sites, the hills get steep close to the St.croix river.
