Cold Front/Bright Sun Tips?

Any tips for moving muskies under the high bright skies? I really can only fish them on the weekends and this year that's meant almost everyday has been bright, warm, and sunny. The last handful of times I've thrown the big lures I haven't had as much as a follow, fishing typically from 3PM - 9PM under that type of weather. I've thrown everything I've had in the box at every type of structure and still no luck. I've had quite a few northerns follow (quite a few that were caught) and even had a follow that turned out to be a walleye (on a musky marabou of all things) on these trips, but no muskies.

Suggestions? I'd at least like to see some fish to give me hope for the day.

I probably won't be throwing at them for another 2 weeks. Until then I'm actually going to do a little evaluation of some private stocking (on a privately owned pond). Seeing if our plant of sunfish (5 years ago, haven't revisited the project since the plant) was successful and if so what effect it has had on the previously established (and somehow surviving) northern (and only northern, no other non-minnow fish species present). I plan on reporting the results here too. Should be interesting throwing at very un-pressured northerns.

On bright sunny days if I can I will fish at night. But if I do got to fish during the day I like to burn smaller bucktails as fast as I can. Another thing that I have noted on these sunny days is the fish seem to hold real tight to cover. And sometimes running a bent arm bucktail rate in the thick stuff will get a fish to go.But If you can try to fish at night on these days.
