New Walleye State record caught!!!

Hey Rick, this is a pretty neat story so i thought id post the low down on it. The South dakota state record for a walleye was shattered a few nights ago by a 73 year old woamn fishing from shore. The new record is 16.2 lbs. The old record was 15.3 She caught it at the fort randall dam fishing from shore casting a rappalla....I guess this goes to show that fishing has no age or monetary prefrences when it comes to landing a lunker....no 35 thousand dollar ranger boat nor expensive equipment was needed for her to close the deal on what is a monster fish!! Can you imagine what this fish would weigh in the spring full of eggs!!! anyway, thought it was a neat story, good luck everyone and lets pray for cold weather.

Thats awesome! Wow, a 16 pound walleye, I couldn't even imagine. Must have been a great experience for her.
