Guest
Anybody willing to offer some advice on a good spot in the Cities (especially in SW area)to find first ice walleyes? Not looking for size, just some degree of certainity in actually finding some.I had an absolutely horrible time last winter on 'eyes and managed to catch 0 of them, despite doing well on northerns and bass. I fished evenings on Minnetonka, Harriet, O'Dowd, even went to Alexandria and only caught perch on Reno and Miltona. (Minnetonka was especially painful as I would many times spend the day locating what looked like great structure, and drilling many, many holes in every sort of depth and trying everything and not getting a single bite. I vowed not to fish there this winter!!)Thanks,Mike
