Rapala magnums?

I was given a couple of big Rapala "CD" count down magnum lures and they look like they ought to be good for pike. Do you have any tips for fishing these baits? The two I have are size 18 (7 inches) and size 22 (9 inches).

I caught a 3 lbs bass off a pike colored once. It was a surprise when I got it up to the boat.

Deep rock reefs and open water bait pods...Killer!

Figure out what the fall rate or countdown is and let them sink just below schoold of baitfish with those happy little arches below them in open water and start the whole wounded minnow retrive deal...could be the next state record.
