wazz
Where can I buy a refurbished prop for a 15hp Envirude, and how do I know what is the right one?I know nothing about the motor other than 15hp,I don't know what year, or any of that stuff ThnaksWazz
iffy
Take your old prop along with you and go to any marine shop. They pretty much all stock rebuilt props, and a 15 omc is as common as they get.
sparcebag
I just purchased a new prop for a 1988 15 HP Evenrude.Searched all over for used, rebuilt,No one had them was told by some FMers just get new.I guess 15Hp isnt very popular!OBs are either Huge HP or smaller are 4 stroke. Is yours splined or shear pin type?
marine_man
I would take the prop off and take it in to a marine dealer, or call Soderbloom's a site sponsor who should be able to get you fixed up and the part shipped to you if needed... Good luck!marine_man

iffy
Sparcebag; Where did you check? I'd be amazed if Little Crow or Spicer sports didnt have one. Also Tiger marine usually has a couple on hand. Loren Hjellie from New London rebuilds them and usually he keeps some at the dealers around there. But down there doesn't do Wazz any good. As far as up by PR, I'm pretty sure Charlies marine in PR will have a used one. If not try Tims outboard in Hackensack. They for sure will have it. If its a mid 80's up till mid 90's I have a used one here. I live only 20 miles from PR.
sparcebag
I got a new one anyway but yes I tried em all in the area even on line NO used or rebuilt!I will now try Loren Hjellie for rebuild,I was also told a rebuild would cost near as much as new,if it does I have a worthless prop! never heard of Loren till now!
