Which lake is a better pike fishery Winnie or Leech

I'm looking to take a little trip this weekend and was wondering which lake was better for pike, I'm looking to do some walleye fishing in the evening but wanted to kill some of the late morning late afternoon on some pike. Or heck for that matter most of the day on pike. Or something to keep the kids busy catching. Would Upper Red be able to keep the kids entertained this time of year??? That would be another option.

Not to nock on Leech or Winne but a good combo lake in that area would be Cass. Good walleye action and some tanker pike, not to mention the chance at a nice muskie to boot.

As for Upper Red; If the kids like to catch fish the sheephead will keep them more than busy. Just rig them up with a lindy rig and a small minnow or crawler. You can cast for pike on the breaklines while the kids catch some of those scrapy sheephead.

Thank you John, I was actually going to go to Leech but I forgot Moondance was this weekend. I did reserve a campsite at Big Bog and that's where I'm heading. I will be there Saturday and I will take in everything you said. I'll be on the lake all day. I can't wait.
