Bobber fishing for northern

Does anybody have an idea for where i should set my depth for northerns when im bobber fishing with suckers. i am fishing in about 15 ft of water.

If there is good weed growth I would shoot for just above the weeds. This is where a good depth finder comes in handy. If you have 3 foot tall weeds, you would want your depth to be at about 11 feet. I have bobber fished for northerns many times and it is a fun and relaxing way to fish for them. Nothing like seeing a huge float go under!

Remember fish can move their eyes up, down not so much! Last week I caught a nice pike about 10 ft down in 23 ft of water. I might also suggest using circle hooks better for the fish and easier to unhook.

just got back from crystal lake and i ended up getting a 34.5" 15 lb tiger muskie it was nice. there so fun to catch.
