killing my bait!!!!

I have a standard foam bait bucket and fish off shore all the time. Does anyone know what stays alive better creek chubs or suckers/? I am out of bullheads.... also will anyone be in the land of memories area tonight fishing cats because I plan on fishing it form like 7- midnight and feel left out not being able to attend the gathering. good luck all!!!

Maybe a bubbler might help you with those delicate baits. Another option might be to find some bullheads that you can catch at a lake and then also bring some cut bait. You could also cut up your dead bait and use that for cut bait.

Usually when I have suckers and creek chubs along, I will put them in my livewell and run water through all the time and also add two air stones. They still seem to not last long and end up dieing off.

with water temps as warm as they are... Harvey Lee said it all. Its tough to manage delicate baits. Bullheads are are the wonder bait.
