wrist brace for fishing

I have heard of a wrist brace that will relieve pressure on the wrist,used on a spinning outfit called "The Universal Brace" Has anyone used it? Is it worth checking out? My girlfriend has arthritis and I appreciate any help.

How did you turn out did you purchase or make one?? My wife has R.A so we are looking for something to help. I would think the strongarmfishing one but there HSOforum does not work.
