hawgTime
Nice list--like your taste. When are we going fishing. I almost bought a Frabil XLT Twin last year. I was just wondering how you like it and what would you say are the pros and cons of that shelter? ThanksthinkColdhawgTime
Deitz Dittrich
Hawgtime-Thanks, I cant wait, but then again I am not giving up on the Triton either. I would still like to GPS a few more spots for ice fishing if you know what I mean.Reasons I like the Frabill XLT Twin..#1 Its black..black absorbs more heat, darker for sight fishing when the panfish or other are shallow.#2 Steele poles...Yes its a little bit heavier, but its worth it for the durability...#3 the hinge area... Look at the hinge area for all the units.. The frabill is best made by far.. Most just have a bolt going threw all the poles at once.. If you look at the Frabil its a very well made hinge, sandwiched between 2 sheets of steele.#4 The sled its self, maybe not quite as nice as the otter, but much nicer than others.. more durable..#5 No need for a sprreader bar like many other have.. I have to admit, I would drop that dang bar threw the hole or something.. The unit is made well enough to not need a spreader bad...So there you have it.. Why I like the Frabill best, sorry for the long post.If you have any other question.. please feel free!Exudedude!
