I hit this area two nights in a row about a week and a half ago with no luck. Started down stream and work up to the surging water. Could not get on top due to a festival going on. I have dubbed this the pier area grin.gif. Tried Large bullies and only run I got was on cut bully late at night.

I have seen great fish caught down their and wondering if the bite is off for the year or possibly give it another go.I like this area have been going their for years.

If no responses occurs with great news, we will hit Lillydale and up stream from their, this Friday.

Thanks,

SHACKBASH

I know of 1 good flat caught down there in 3 years.. not exactly good odds.

I havent been hitting it lately, its usually a better later season channel area, but still hit and miss. There hasnt been any shortage of worm-dunkers down there this year, I havent even seen them getting much.

Thanks guys for the info!

Lillydale it is...

><><><><><><><I figured some of you guys would know what I was talking about<><><><>><><><><>

I was told once, you can not consider your self a true "metro area cat fisherman" unless you have fished this area. I do not think that is fully true, but it is a neat area to fish.

Someone told me about it as go to "HONK YOUR HORN", I though he was nuts. It took me a year or so in the 1990's to figure out what he meant. During that year or so, I found people who new about it but did not know were it was.

Like DPS stated, I have not seen any fish of size caught down their since the summer of 03 or 04. It still is fun to get out down on and by pillers.

Thanks again!!!! smile.gif

Seeing as how bad the reported fishing is in this area why be so cryptic? Just say the area you mean. I may fish this area and have some added info but can't join in the conversation because I don't have a clue where you mean.

Out of respect for people who do fish their.

If you fish this area, you will fully know what I mean. Those are the people I am trying to direct my question...

I personally do not care if spots are stated on here, but there are others who do (All lot). In the regional area, there are many posts about the subject you brought up.

I just really try not to offend anyone, because if you do, no body will answer back to anything you post. On the internet you can not please everyone.

I think you could call it forum etiquette (Hope I spelled correct)and I am doing my best to stand as close to it as possible. Sorry crazy.gif

P.S.

I have given everyone the exact same info I first got and over a short period of time I figured it out. I would think others could do the same if they really want to get there.

"Delete" (Contact Us Please)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Their you go, I spilled the beans. I hope everyone is happy. grin.gif

Again, if you "have been there" you know what I mean.

I figured some would not be happy about me mentioning "HONK YOUR HORN", but I figure I would ask.

Thanks
