First Muskie!!

Got my first muskie yesterday(6-24) a nice fat 48"! And also got a 29" and missed another nice fish. Both were released to fight another day! Two days before my birthday, probably the best present ever We also boated a 43" also released! It was a great day. Hopefully will have pics on here in the next couple of days. Thanks to everyone who has ever given me advise on this board, it is all helpful! Now I can't wait to go again.

Congrats! I remember my first Muskie. Although I hardly Muskie fish anymore I think it's time to whip out the old heavy tackle & gear and get back into it.

Congradulations that is a nice way to start (48)i started in 1978 didn't catch my first one until 1981 and it took me a couple more years to to get one that big. I notice you on the iowa forum did you happen to catch that fish down there?
