Are those who have them Happy with them??? Just bought one on a whim, and now having second thoughts.. This would be an up grade from my clearwater classic...

I played around with em last winter and I am pretty impressed with it for the price, for a starter unit it's delivered. Durability was tested on the VX-1, fell out of a sled at about 35 mph on the lake after tumbles and flips and it still worked, little noisy like my old vex but worked just fine. Cross talk from LX-5's and 3's in close vicinity can be a little overwhelming for the I.R. on the VX-1 but other than that I am satisfied with the unit. Zoom at a non zoom price is nice

I bought one around christmas time for my son when they were on sale at Mills. It was a bargain and it works great. It has brighter colors then my vexliar and some nice features. I acually traded with him cuz I liked it better.

I got a VX-1 last christmas, only problems had was when it was sitting outside shut off my zoom wouldnt work on the first push and interference was a little more then my buddies vx-3. Other then those two things happening once or twice it worked great and helped me catch alot of fish.
