tearin' lips
Just wondering if anyone has fished any 'Skis up in Sabaskong area yet. Looking to head there for a day next weekend. I am assuming they will be in shallow in the bays and on some rock piles? Also anyone catching any crappies up there? I am not worried about catching walleyes, that's the easy part. I fish Sabaskong alot in the winter for crappies, but have never tried tried for crappies during the summer months. Thanks in advance for any information.Take Care and Good Luck Fishing Guys
rockpt
Never had any luck up there in the summer for crappies. Once in awhile get one while fishing for walleye. I think they scatter in the summer. Good luck with the 'skis.
bushdoe
The Skis action has been good on some days.Crappies can be bobber fished in Stevens bay. Large shallow bays with lots of cabbage weed. Evening is the best. Also Obobikon bay is excellent for for crappie. They will be concentrated in certain shallow bays with alot of cabbage weed present. If you head into Obobikon Lake you can fish for crappie out in the middle of the lake. Lots of cabbage weed present hear.
Muskiebait
Tear'in, there are plenty of skis in this area, all you have to do is find the structure points, and find the weed bays, they are there and there are some submarines....
