Guest
I was feelin a little craftsy today. I came up with an idea for a bucket buddy. A pair of jeans. My only problem was I want big pockets. So I go on my way to Savers in St Cloud to see if I can find the proper jeans. I found a pair with HUGE back pockets, with a 36 in waist. These were like some kind of gang banger pants so there were plenty baggy with lots of little pockets. They were only 5 bucks. So I get home and cut off the legs and open up the crotch. Its a perfect fit around the bucket. No belt neccessary. It fits just loosely around the whole bucket. It even looks good. I'm just so proud of this thing!I'm just poor college boy, scrounging to get by. You guys gotta try this. I'll get a few looks this winter. Maybe some of you will get a chance to see it. I wish i knew how to post pictures. Have a good one! Matt
Dave
Sounds like a good idea, Matt. I bought a couple of "bucket buddy's" at Menards a few years back. (They hold tools in and around the bucket) I think I only paid $5 for those as well.
Dave
Actually, I'm looking at the Menards paper right now. "Tool Carrier", fits a five gallon bucket, has 27 outside and 8 inside pockets. $4.97Rods handles fit inside the pockets too.
