Yamaha f25 four stroke.

Does anyone have anything good/bad to say about idle/rough running qualities of yamaha's 25hp four stroke? I'm looking at one and seem to remember a salesperson saying that particular model ran real rough. Thanks in advance

I've owned two F25's and both ran great. One was a 2000 and the other a 2004. Good motors imo. Wouldn't hesitate buyin' another. Junky..........

I have one, and I can say for a fact it idles down as nicely or better than any motor I have ever used! I use it regularly for backtrolling instead of my minnkota electric...

I ran one for several seasons with nothing but smooth operation.

I have one on my Lund SSV 16 and its great. Only thing is that its a tad heavy. If you get the ptt you also get the great tiller handle, but its another 800 or so, or more.
