Clear Lake 6/13/07?

Has anybody been catching anything lately? I will be there Saturday morning and hope to catch anything, as I normally have no luck. I am part of the mentoring program in my county and will be bringing my mentee along for his first time ever fishing, so we need to get him on fish to keep interest. Any info is appreciated. Thanks

Walleye bite is still good although not the suicide bite it was 2 weeks ago. Crankbaits and live bait catching fish. Heavy fishing pressure combined with pleasure boat/jet ski season makes fishing difficult during the day. Catfish and yellow bass are biting well on the rock reefs also.

Fished form 7 til 1:30 today when it got real turbid and choppy from the boaters. We started north of the island and had only 1 or 2 bites, then went straight north where there was a pile of boats. Had a bunch of bites but were real light, and none caught. Then headed over to Billy's reef, and caught 4 12" walleyes and 1 18" walleye. Also had 1 small yellow bass. Then headed over to Dodges point and had no luck as it was getting busy out there. This trip has kept up to par with my luck at Clear Lake. From talking to others out there is was pretty slow fishing.
