An awesome saturday

A buddy and I went up to my cabin and had one of the best days of fishing I have had in a long time! From 10am-2pm we fished smaillies and our best 8 wieghed about 22 lbs. (caught about 20), then from 3pm-6:45pm we fished largemouth and our best 8 wieghed about 31 lbs, (caught about 20). After not fishing any tournaments, other than the minnetonka classic last year w/o practice, it was a nice "welcome back!" I hope to do well this year in tournaments! I couldn't believe I caught almost all the largemouth in 12-13' of water (deepest depth for this lake) while there was still bass protecting their fry! Good luck on the water guys!
