Thorne bros leaders

Recommended Posts

They are the flouro leaders I use, mostly the 130lb one, they have a heavier snap, and I tend to think the 80lb ones are a little on the light side.

As much work goes into making them on your own, buying the right crimpers from what's been posted here before, they are hard to beat.

Thanks, I am interested in those 130# big bait or whatever they call them leaders - just want to get a reference or two, especially with regards to the crimps or knots used.

They build them right, Seaguar Flurocarbon, mason dual sleeves, good terminal tackle. I'm a DIY kind of guy so I build them myself but the TB leaders are great. I made a few 18" 200lb test flurocarbon leaders as well as some 5', 200lb test leaders for trolling. I also made some 40lb, 5' leaders for walleye trolling and they've worked great so far this year.
