Convert-A-Ball Cushioned Ball Mounts from Cabela's???

Have any of you purchased the "Convert-A-Ball Cushioned Ball Mounts" from Cabela's?

Product Description - "These ball mounts feature two heavy-duty polyurethane cushions inside the body of the rear retainer to reduce the slams and bangs associated with trailer towing during starting, stopping and rough highways. Reducing these jolts helps to protect your towing vehicle's driveline, hitch assembly and trailer contents".

I pull a heavy boat and it seems like a little extra cushion on the tranny would not be a bad thing. There is a pretty good "clunk" sometimes starting from a a dead stop.

Thanks!

My dad has one and it absorbs some impacts. What I do on all recievers and slide ins is drill and ream the 5/8" hole out to 3/4" and machine a new pin. I do this because the set-ups with the 5/8" pins are sloppy and move around alot. The snug fit helps keep the slop to a minimum.
