Shackbash, Yes these cats were caught up in this neck of the woods. There are alot of cats up here. I havent actully put in at ER, I kinda stick to Otsego with the boat bacause I have learned where the rocks are. I am planning on heading back out tonight, I think it will be good with the hot weather today.

I might try launching at 101 bridge in Er this week. Figure i should try before water goes down any further. Good sized channels have been caught around otsego and back waters in that area. Besides a good friend of mine catching a 20 lbs'er in Monti area, we have hauled 16lbs plus fish out of this area. Also had a couple of trips during fall time that produced 20-30 fish in one trip. Now that is action.

I am still a bit new to the catfishing thing, my biggest is about 30 inches. Hopefully I can beat that this summer. Being able to catch 20-30 fish averaging 4-6lbs in one evening sure beats Bass or Walleye fishing!

Might want to keep those digits out the channels mouth. They tend to chomp pretty good.

She likes to fish, but would rather go for sunnies or "prettier fish". She was kinda scared when we got the fish in the boat, It took awhile to get her to pick it up. I had to tell her that the barbles don't sting you.

I let her use the glove to pick it up, I usually get my buddies to lip thier first ones
