Hey all, I was working the other day up in Red Wing and happened to see a female cardinal...and right with her was a all white cardinal! yea, so my question, is there such things as an albino bird?? And yes, I am 100% sure it was a cardinal. grin.gif

Albinism isn't common, but I believe it's possible in pretty much all species of animals that have color pigment. I've heard of many documented cases of albinism in a wide range of animals, and have myself seen albino deer, squirrels, robins and sparrows, and I have no doubt an albino cardinal is credible.
