Yes...I got my limit of Bass this week in about 3 hours...all were 2-5 lbs...but....well...they had to go back down the hole...

too bad....still fun to catch though.

Is it just me, or does everybody have the same problem with every time you go and finally get some nice fish the season is over!!!! I went yesterday and cuaght a nice 3 1/2 pound walleye a 2 pound bass and about a 2 pound northern. Had to put them all back down the hole.AGGGHHHH!!!

Procrappieguide...Your distraught about letting a limit of Largemouth bass go? There's never a time that I would ever keep a bass while ice-fishing unless I was starving! If you have a couple of crappies than you don't need any other fish.

I have absolutly no clue as to why one would ever think that releasing a fish is bad thing. confused.gif

A reasonable person could call into question that if one was targeting fish that are out of season one could be breaking the law if not the intent and spirit of it anyway.

Also, if one was consistantly catching fish that are out of season while targeting fish in season, it might be a prudent and sportsmanlike move to relocate.

True. Good point Kevin. The biggest problem I've had with that lately is at url. Those silly eyes keep scaring the craps away and taking my line. Then there's the saugers and micro perch too, oh well. Could be worse, I could be working...
