I was out scouting inlets this week for open water/shore fishing, and I've noticed the ice conditions are going down hill rapidly. Think twice before you go out. I'm not trying to be an alarmist, I just don't want anyone to get hurt. Have a good holiday week-end and stay safe!

I was riding past the gravel pit ponds/lakes
just west of Rochester on Hwy 14 this
afternoon. OPEN WATER! Completely open - no
ice to be seen.

Y'all be careful - best I resign myself
that the ice season is over and get the
boat out - start getting it ready.
