Flathead Weight Conversion Chart

Recommended Posts

I think I've come up with a pretty decent formula to determine weight using measurements. From what I can determine the tolerance is +/- 3lbs. With accurate measurements it should be very close. Tom's fish weighed 23lbs and the formula calculated 22.9 grin.gif

If anyone is interested I put together an Excel chart.

My 40 x 25 weighed 32lbs on my Rapala digital.

Darren's conversion chart has it at 31.4lbs.

If thats not on the money, I don't know what is?

You just have to be honest with your measurements and your weight will come out right. If you stretch an inch here or there, your fish will obviously weigh heavy.
