Crappies

Hello everyone!
I am going out to a lake with my frien this weekend. We are fishing for crappies straight out from a landing in about 28 feet of water. I was just wondering what I should use out there to outfish my friend. We always have a big rivalry on who can catch the most fish. Please help with any ideas. Thanks guys.(and gals!)

Northern boy, What has been hot around here is Northland Tackle's Forage Minnow. Glow on the back and on the front a little bit of blue. Tip it with a crappie minnow or a waxworm. Have one rod set up like this and a dead stick rod with an Ice Buster bobber! Good Luck, Bruce Mosher

Minnow on a glo-jig, color doesn't matter as long as its pink

Recently I have been doing good on circle jigs that glow bright red.

Been doing good with a pink teardrop with white back (glow) and a light green Gentz worm jig (glow) both with small minnows Look for suspended fish. Lately when I fish in 30 feet they come through about 21 feet or so. Can't say any more.
