Doop
I've wanted to fish Canada for a long time now. I just turned 30 and I think it's time I made that happen. The main thing that holds me back is money. Some resorts want a lot of money for their services...and that's fine...I just can't afford it. I would be looking for a campground or something cheaper like that. If you could pick one lake in Manitoba or Ontario to fish for northerns....trophy northerns...where would you go? g man46
Go to Moak Lodge on Cedar Lake in Manitoba. For a room it is around thirty bucks a night. He has a campground, but I don't know what he charges. The lake is loaded with huge northerns and there are quite a few nice walleyes as well. It is a good lake for a first timer to Canada. You just go there and catch, not much knowledge of the lake is needed. He does have a HSOforum as well.
