packing my FishCat 4 for vacation question....

Recommended Posts

I am going to Colorado the last two weeks of June. At first I thought I would leave my tube at home and just fish the rivers for trout. Now I'm thinking, "I can't do that!!!" because I'll be camping at a couple reservors and small mountain lakes. My only concern is packing the Fishcat into a tote. It is a somewhat tight fit. Is it bad for the float tube to be packed and unpacked over and over again several times?

Thanks!

Oh. it's going all right! Don't want to be stuck on those overfished shore spots on the reserviors. Got some awesome river spots to fish too. BTW, I mailed the Fish-Cat people and they said it wouldn't be a problem. Just make sure to dry it off before storing it away. Right now I am having dreams of catching trout in beautiful Colorado cool.gif
