Guest
Have any of you sent your FL-18s back to Vexilar for the updates yet? If so, does it seem to have corrected the problems? I'm in southwest Michigan and haven't been able to get out for a few weeks now, but plan to make baby Swiss out of a small lake up north this weekend. Guess I plan to wait until we're cussing at ***holes on jet skis from our walleye boats before I send mine in.

Guest
I just quickly browsed through the 91 replies to that one and didn't see anyone commenting on whether the updates fixed the problems or not. Maybe everyone is like me and is waiting to send in their units when the water gets soft? Despite the few problems I've had on soft-bottom lakes, venturing out without it would be UNTHINKABLE. kslipsinker
I had my unit updated today on the way home from work. They people at the Bloomington, Mn. location were very nice and fast. I had a cigar going in my truck and it was still going when I returned. It took about 2 minutes. I hope to check it out this weekend. Thank's to Vexilar! Checked it out on a lake tonight. Works a whole lot better than before![This message has been edited by kslipsinker (edited 03-07-2002).]
