Nokomis is on for carp. This morning they were shallow and rolling,jumping,splashing all over the shoreline. Somebody needs to cut loose on these things. Go get'em.

In MPLS.Parks I think theres a law stating no firearms,hunting,archery,unless a designated range is available.Call em ask.If your in a boat it may not apply.

There was a couple guys wading the shallows of Nokomis early last summer bowfishing. I was fishing in my canoe and watched them for a little while. No one said anything to them when I was in the area. I would contact the city or a CO and try to find out if its okay first.

I seem to remember hearing that a bow rigged for bowfishing is angling, not archery, equipment in the eyes of the law. I can't verify that, so I'll have to investigate. And get the name of the CO so that I can give it to the cops when they start asking questions.
