I have a dumb question, Can you leagaly, drive on ice to Canada, from Mn. and buy a license,bait w/recipt, and fish in Canada for the day w/out crossing customs?, I know, I should know this...Thanks!

Only if you have a remote area border crossing permit, and you are indeed in a remote area, where there is no reasonable place to clear customs.
