Fishing Tour at Thorne Bros May 5-6

First of all, I would like to thank everyone who attended our annual Spring Sale. You made it the best one yet! As a special 'thank you', we would like to invite all of you back for another sale (in case you forgot something :-) on Saturday, May 5th and Sunday the 6th--just in time for the Opener! In addition to the sale, The Shimano Fishing Tour will be at our store. You will be able to see everything Shimano makes and have chances at some awesome prizes. Have a technical question? Shimano staff and local pros will be on hand to answer them and provide tips on fishing and gearing up.

We will also be having seminars going on that will soon be announced. Keep checking back and I will update as we know more. One of the seminars will be a muskie seminar by Patricia Strutz who guides in the Eagle River area of Wisconsin.

And now here's the BIG DEAL! Someone is going to have a chance to walk away from the Shimano Fishing Tour with $10,000 in Shimano's 'Cast For Cash' Challenge!!! The contest will go like this.....everyone who shows up will get a raffle ticket, and on the last day (Sunday), one person will get drawn toward the end of the day to get 1 cast at a target. If they make it, they win $10,000. They will have no prior knowledge as to the target size, distance, etc. but will get 10 -15 minutes to warm up prior. This will be a great event for the kids--so bring the whole family.

Shimano will also be bringing their 'Fighting Chair Face Off'....2 saltwater fighting chairs facing each other, and kids or adults can sit in them with rods and reels tied together and go toe-to-toe with each other!

There is also an online Scavenger Hunt (that you can do now!) where you can go into each tour sponsors web-site and look for "clues". When you find a clue, bring it to the store over May 5 and 6 and receive a free prize from the Shimano Fishing Tour!
