The February meeting for the Metro chapter of the Minnesota Walleye Alliance (MNWA) is this Wednesday the 20 th. at 7:00 PM in the basement of the American Legion in Richfield on 65th and Portland Ave So.
This months speaker will be Mr. Joe Fellegy speaking on his favorite lake, Mille Lacs.
Also, by attending this meeting you will hear more about our upcoming "Meet the Pro's day" scheduled for Saturday, March 2 nd at the same location. This is will be a fun filled day with a walleye lunch included.
As usual we will have some great door prizes and raffles available so plan to attend and bring a friend.

Paul,
Absolutley. We encourage people to bring kids of that age. Sometimes we have discussions that are over their heads but we try to keep everyone involved. They are the future. Plus they may win a nice door prize.
We try to hold the meetings to 1 1/2 hours so we are done by 8:30 but some times they will slide to 9:00

any more input on a north metro chapter? I have only been able to attend a couple of your meetings, and loved them, but i always work too late to make it from where i live in the north metro as it is about an hour and a half from where i live to richfield. Ps: i would be glad to help in that effort in any way i could, ie; scouting out meeting sites, letting other folks know of the meetings etc.

MRMILLELACS,
If you are serious about getting a chapter started, e-mail me direct and we'll get on the phone. I can help you with locations suggestions and give you a copy of the by-laws etc.

I personally would like to attend a north metro meeting instead of the 1/2hour drive.
We just got our web site back up and running and will be adding immprovments to it.
