Any one do any bass fishing on prior lake? I need help

I have never fished prior and was wondering if some one could give me some helpful hints on the big lake? or good starting points to catch some bass Thanks

Prior has some great bass fishing, but the problem I think you have is getting anybody to give you any info on what there biting and spots to fish because there are alot of tournaments out there and the guys that fish the lake are generally fishing in some of the tournaments. I don't fish very many of the tournaments out there. So has bass fishing gets closer and I start fish out there I will be more then happy to point you in the right direction.

I personally avoid Prior Lake because it's so busy and the ramps seem to be filled with uneducation ramp users. To many recreational tubers and such that clog up the ramps for hours.

I have always had good luck fishing in candy cove. Fish the docks and then move out to the weed line. There is also a point that comes out of the middle of the south side of the bay that can be good. Generally I would tell you to just hit some docks that are near deep water and if that doesnt work find some weedlines that drop quickly into deep water and you should find some fish.

i have a personal grudge against prior, its tough, especially mid summer.. i will have my revenge soon enough though
