I just purchased a Lowrance 334c gps/sonar which I plan to mount at the steering console. However, I do most of my fishing from the bow of the boat so I am thinking about buying another cheaper gps for the front of the boat. I already have a color sonar up front but would like to be able to mark waypoints, etc. I do not know whether to buy a handheld unit (H2O) that I could then use for ice fishing or just a monochrome Lowrance gps (ie Lowrance 4800). Also, would there be any reason to link the two gps systems? I have the 2007 LakeMaster chip to use with my gps. Any comments or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
We went to the flats too. I dipped a tire on the rental car onto it just to say I’ve been there, but it was still pretty soft from winter melt. After seeing some moron in a BMW suv get dragged out of the muck I had no intention of repeating his stupidity.
