MUSKIES ATTACK CHILDREN !!!

Recommended Posts

Quote:

At a WCC Meeting last night I encountered a bonafied Musky Hater . Among other things , he stated that Muskies Attack children . Has anybody been first hand witness to one of these attacks or ever seen photo evidence of any sort ? Does anybody know of any verifiable proof this has ever happened ? I have swam these waters in Wi. & Mn. my whole life as have my friends and kids and have never encountered anything of the sort. I think its folk tales but would still entertain concrete proof of it happening . Anybody ?

Yes! A friend of mine lost their kid to a musky attack. Due to the sensitivity of this issue...not to be discussed in further detail.

Personally I had almost been attacked by a Pike or Musky when I was child. Noodling my hand in the water foolishly, well actually waving my hand in the water like a fish was swimming a creating a little nest on a sand bar. Next thing I saw was two big eyes and a head staring right at me. I freezed. I flinched and a gush of water splashed violently. I cried.

I know my cousin was bit by a baby pike when we were feeding bluegills....but saw the finger and thought hmmm meal. It happens, but how many times have you been bitten by bluegills when you go in the water.....This guy would just be a fish hater if he knew about all those nasty Bluegills and spottail shiners......

So I take it Mr. Moe is not a fisherman... ha. Honestly, though just because those guys we're inconsiderate idiots really doesn't mean the rest of us are. I guess everyone is entitled to their own opinion though. Love your story though muskyfool, still laughing as I type this.
