tulikow
I will be staying for a few days at Lost Island Lodge in mid-july. I plan on fishing mainly for walleye and maybe some pike. Has anyone stayed here before or have any input on what I should expect? Thanks for any info.
superbee
You will have really good walleye fishing with them being scooled up on the reefs in July. The water is really low this year, so there will be new reefs to find, put them in your GPS this year and when the water rises you'll have lots of good spots. If you get a guide, hire Brad or Basil. Nice place and greta fishing, you'll have fun.
1DIRTBALL
You can expect to be treated very well at Lost Island Lodge. Shane and Chris Hayes take excellent care of their guests and are two of the nicest people I've had the good fortune to meet. Superbee gave you some good recommendations for guides. If you can't get them, don't be afraid to ask for Shane and Chris' son Sam. He may be young but he know's his stuff. A chip off the old block! Good luck! 1DIRTBALL
