Ahhh! Spring! (pics included)

Can you believe it?...a sunny weekend for once ....and I realy enjoyed the last few days with the camera in hand!...the bird gods were certainly with me ....this morning I heard the familiar annual, ruffed grouse "drumming"....stood and waited...heard it again about 5 minutes later to "home in" on him...and there he was,sitting on his favorite drumming log!...of course he saw me as fast as I saw him so only could get one quick pic(at full zoom about 75' away)...

and the arrival of spring is certainly here with the arrival of hundreds of robins the last couple of days...

also fortunate to come upon a few great gray owls yesterday(3 totaled)...
