Weather was great. 4/13 got limits had good day. 4/14 more fog than I could ever imagine. Got lost in the river. Was surprised we got the 5 we did get. More surpised we didnt hit any of the stumps that are below the waterline. Those will redline the pucker meter.

We were out 13-15 had 6 boats out. Only 1 of the boats limited out. They were at the White river. The rest of us fished by town and north and did not have good luck caught some fish but just not long enough and not a lot of #'s. Any chance you will share were you were at?

I would be happy to tell you but I`m not real familiar with the area. It was about a 15 minute run north from Cedar Shores traveling in the low 40s. There was a couple sand piles w/some fuel tanks on the western shore. We caught fish all the way from 14' down to 30' in the area on the east side of the channel. The channel runs close to the west bank in this area. It was all males while we were there. Lots of fish just below the minimum.

Was in chamberlain this past weekend. Fished Sat. after the fog lifted ( that was crazy thick fog )- Took us most of the day to find fish. Started out south near the white river, and never landed a fish. We then ran north to Kiowa flats and fished the main river channel - boated 30 fish, with 4 being keepers. Sunday ran north agian, this time staying about 1 mile south of the crow river. Again fished the main river channel, anywhere from 23'-35' depths. boated over 100 fish before we finally were able to land our 12 keepers. Lot of fish in the 14-1/2" to 14-7/8" range. Sunday, returned to the same area, found fish early in the 18'-22' depths, and around noon moved to 28'-35'. Had 4 in the box, and then the winds picked up and we headed out. Most of our fish came on bottom bouncers with a single chartruse bead, and a red hook tipped with a minnow.

Fishing was again not the norm for the area. Mostly short fish and hard to get your slot fish. Most of the slot fish came from the White river and the rip rap by town.
