GPS Help

Schloogs

Question

I am looking at getting a GPS system for the first time and will be using it mostly for fishing. I have been doing some studying and am interested in the iFinder H2O, has anybody used this? How do you like it? I also understand that I will need to get some type of mapping chip or software. Any suggestions?

Very good unit. User friendly, durable easy to read. I love mine. I also have the ifinder Pro. The H20 is a step up. Make sure that you get the lakemaster 07 chip. I have both and the new one contains more "boated" lake than the older chip. By boated I mean they literally got the lake data from zigzaging across the lakes rather than using topo maps. Up here in Northern MN there are several lakes with updated info on them, that I fish. Very accurate. Also consider the RAM mount that uses a suction cup and flexible arm. You can use it in the truck in the winter and put in the windsheild of the boat in the summer. I hope this helps.
