FLY FISHING in YOSEMITE!! just got the plane tickets!

I just bought the tickets! Taking a vacation trip back home to Southern California the end of April. Spend a day or two with the family and off up north to rock climb Half Dome in Yosemite. After the climb and hikes, I'll have about 2 days of exploring the streams and rivers of Yosemite before heading up to San Francisco for some good ol crab fishing! I wanted to see if any of you guys have ever fished this park/rivers before? I use to live in Southern Cali....but the last time I remember camping in Yosemite was when I was 9. Thats almost 20 years ago! I will take lots of pictures and try to catch and release a few fish! I'll drop by a few fly shops to update the flies...but any help will do! I'm just trying to pick a few brains.

i am about two hours from yosemite. i've never fished there before but have heard that the back country streams can be great. i am half way between yosemite and san fransico. you might check calflyfisher (Contact Us Please), they may be able to help ya, or check the yosemite site. have fun, should be a great time for waterfalls at the park.
