ice?????

anyone in the igl area have an ice report? we did very well on little millers last weekend and im pretty sure that we wont be able to get back on there. but im hoping that somewhere there is still some safe ice. anything anywhere?

i went out on miller's on mon afternoon and had to use an alternate access to get on but we pounded them. they moved way up into the north end of the bay, almost on shore looks like a little creek runs in there. the point was really opening up. I might try early friday morning. they are gettin a few on anglers and it sounds like you can still get on. not for long though. time to get out the boat!

Was on Spirit last Saturday, Angler's Bay, and the fishing was good but access wasn't. Shoreline was really starting to give it up...plenty of ice once you got out there though. I'd guess it'd be tough to get on at that location now. Boat time indeed.

thanks for the info fellas ill be heading down tomorrow morning bringing both long and short rods. i nailed the northerns on the grade at ice off last year and im hoping to do it again. ill keep you posted.

As of last night (3/23) the DNR is advising nobody on ice in local lakes. A beautiful week, and I'm sure it's really breaking down at this point.

the boats arent too far out now. there were still guys on little millers today but not this guy. i dont know how they got out there but it didnt look very good to me. i had a few bites on the grade but no real takers and caught a few gills on the bridge between east and west okoboji.
